This item must be replaced at least once per year for optimal performance. Fits Herrmidifier model G100 and G300 series humidifiers.
The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as Trion, Fedders, Hermidifier but is correctly spelled Herrmidifier.

I made the mistake of buying replacement filters for my furnace herrmidifier humidifier from a local supply store. Not only was the service abysmal (find the item yourself) but they had a replacement that was cheaply made and dented easily. Even as I was installing it I thought that the old filter looked more elegant despite all the mineral deposits on it. Well, long story short, it did a crappy job of humidifying the house and I spent a miserable winter with humidity in the 30s. I thankfully ordered the three pack from this online supply store, and got them delivered free of shipping costs which means they worked out cheaper than the local store price. Besides I joyfully recognized that these were identical to the original filter that came with the unit when the hvac guys installed it. Each filter in the three pack comes separately wrapped with instructions attached to it. These were actually useful and i followed them to the letter. The humidity of the house now stays at 50% with no difficulty whatsoever, and I have actually had to use the humidity control on the unit to ensure it does not go above 50%. Moral: always buy the correct filter or it will create suboptimal conditions for your unit. Item was incredibly well packed with bubble pockets, and item arrived ups ground quickly despite various weather events across the country.

I didn't like that the part was on back order however, it didn't seem to take "that" much longer. There was a leak with the old filter and it has since resolved itself with this change. Have a blessed day!
